Our Miel Lip Balm is an all-natural lip moisturizer. The ingredients we use all work together to provide the best weather protection for your lips no matter what the season! The properties of the individual ingredients work together to make our lip balms exceptional and 100% natural! Ingredients below include essential oils unique to specific selections.
Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, Vanilla Essential Oil, Lanolin, Honey, and Vitamin E
Jojoba acts as an emollient and moisturizer. Your lips readily absorb jojoba without making them feel greasy or tacky.
Beeswax retains properties that sooth and soften your lips, making it a perfect ingredient for lip balms. Beeswax effectively creates a long-lasting protective coating against the elements. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, non-allergenic.
Lanolin’s lanolin’s water-repellent and antibacterial qualities cause it to be effective at sealing out germs and moisture while enabling moist wound healing.
Peppermint Essential Oil is rich in Vitamins A and C and also contains smaller amounts of Vitamin B2. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant and may help to decrease the risk of certain cancers.
Vanilla Essential Oil. We purchase our Vanilla Essential Oil from the Lemur Conservation Foundation, a small non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the primates of Madagascar. Because of our history with Madagascar, we have chosen purchase our Vanilla Essential Oil from LCF and support their efforts to educate the people of Madagascar in conserving and using the rain forest.
